Ecumenical Patriarchate Accepts the Resignation of Metropolitan Maximos of Pittsburgh

The Holy and Sacred Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, at their meeting of August 29th and 30th, 2011, accepted the resignation of His Eminence Metropolitan Maximos from his position as Metropolitan of Pittsburgh for reasons of health.
