2006 METROPOLIS CLERGY-LAITY ASSEMBLY

General Information
  METROPOLIS CLERGY-LAITY ASSEMBLY  
    The Metropolis Clergy-Laity Assembly concerns itself with all matters affecting the life and growth of the Church within the Metropolis. Clergy and lay representatives from the Metropolis parishes, along with members of the Metropolis Council and Archdiocesan Council, gather annually with the Metropolitan to discuss matters of common concern in the life of the local parishes, the Metropolis, and the Archdiocese.  
  METROPOLIS PHILOPTOCHOS ASSEMBLY  
    The Metropolis Philoptochos Assembly is convened annually to discuss matters affecting the life and ministries of Philoptochos. Delegates and observers from each local parish chapter gather together with the Metropolis Philoptochos President and executive board, to discuss various philanthropic endeavors.

  DELEGATE OR OBSERVER  
    Our Clergy-Laity Assembly has changed venues and formats, but the criteria for determining delegates and observers to the Assembly have not changed. Please refer to the Uniform Parish Regulations for more information. The criteria for determining a delegate or observer to the Philoptochos Assembly are detailed in the Philoptochos by-laws.

  REGISTRATION & HOTEL INFORMATION  
    Hotel reservations may be made by calling the Sheraton Station Square Hotel at (412) 261-2000. A special rate of $103 per night has been secured by mentioning "Greek Orthodox Metropolis." Reservations must be made by October 11, 2006, to receive this special rate.
