Welcome to the new Metropolis of Pittsburgh website! This all-new site is designed to offer the latest Metropolis news and offer valuable resources and information about His Eminence Metropolitan Savas and the ministries of the Metropolis.

Second Annual Greek Language Competition, Exhibit & Children's Festival
His Eminence congratulates all of the Participants at St. Nicholas Cathedral, Pittsburgh on Saturday, June 7th. Special thanks to St. Nicholas Cathedral for hosting and to Maria Stamoolis and her committee.
All students learning Greek from 2nd - 12th grade (Beginners, Intermediates, and Advanced) were invited to compete in a Vocabulary Bee, submit a poem, short story, and or exhibit artwork. Winners each received $100 along with trophies. They attended a Children’s Festival with the theme “Patron Saints and Cities” Games and activities for all ages.

Summer Camp 2014
The Youth Office has moved to Summer Camp! To reach the Summer Camp (and temporary Youth Office), please dial the Youth Office Phone: 412.621.8543. All calls to the Metropolis Youth Office will be fowarded to the Camp Office beginning Wednesday evening.
Need financial aid to attend Summer Camp? Due to a generous grant from Leadership 100, the Metropolis of Pittsburgh is able to provide for campers who have true financial need. Please fill out the one page form found here.
Many parishes offer Scholarship. Please contact your Parish before registering. Your parish priest will need to complete the following form to receive Scholarship Codes: click here. (This form has been available since February.

June 15th - 21th: JOY Session 1 begins this Sunday, Father's Day at 6:00 pm (Just about 100 Campers, Clergy & Staff)
June 22nd - 28th: JOY Session 2
July 6th - July 12th: GOYA Session 4 (FULL, Wait List closed.)
