2014 Metropolis GOYA Volleyball Tournaments
Thank you to St. Nicholas Cathedral GOYA for hosting the first one-day Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, March 8th. The next tournament is on Saturday, May 3rd hosted by Annunciation, Akron at the Independence Fieldhouse in Independence, OH. Look for more info soon.
Metropolis GOYA Spring Retreat
Registration has begun for the Spring Retreat to be held at Camp Nazareth, April 4 - 6. Our theme is "Faith in Action" with Keynote Speaker, Paul Abernathy, Director of FOCUS Pittsburgh. Campers and Staff, see the Event Registration tab at the top of the page. Please note, many of our parishes offer Scholarship. Contact your Parish Priest or Youth Director for assistance/scholarship code. If your parish does not offer, please do not let financial need be a reason not to attend, contact the Metropolis Youth Director for assistance. Phone: 412.621.8543
Metropolis Basketball Tournament Season concludes
The seven Metropolis Tournamants have finished bringing the Season to an end until January 2015.

To the Reverend Clergy, the Monastics, the Parish Councils, the Distinguished Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, the Day, Afternoon, and Church Schools, the Philoptochos Sisterhoods, the Youth, the Hellenic Organizations, and the entire Greek Orthodox Family Of the Holy God-Preserved Metropolis of Pittsburgh:
It is my pleasure to announce the appointment of four regional vicars to assist in the administration of our Holy Metropolis. They will serve as my representatives in each region assisting me in various ways: by addressing the health and ongoing care of our clergy, by resolving disagreements or disputes that arise, and by representing me at functions and meetings.
