Metropolitan Savas of Pittsburgh to Receive Honorary DegreeOn Sunday, May 26, 2013, His Eminence, Metropolitan Savas (Zembillas), spiritual leader of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Pittsburgh, will be awarded an honorary doctorate from his alma mater, Colby College in Waterville, Maine. Children of all ages are invited to come and enjoy the festivities, even if you are not competing, exhibiting artwork, or a part of a Greek School. Children from all Metropolis parishes are welcome! Come and watch a Karagiozi Puppet Show, laugh with the antics of a Greek Clown, make fun crafts, enjoy the music, food, and laughter!
